Here I will put up news about the bands that I hear, to keep you up to date and let you know what is going on in heavy metal music...

Dream Theater album "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" album hits stores!

The latest studio album by Dream Theater, title "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" hit stores January 29th. The CD is a two CD set, with the first disc containing 5 tracks, roughly 50 minutes of music. The songs on the first disc are very good, showing that Dream Theater is showing no signs of slowing down since "Metropolis Part II : Scenes From a Memory. The second disc of the set is a 42 minute track called "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence." The second CD wasn't nearly as good as the first CD. There are times where its very musical, some great guitar, there are times where it is pretty heavy, but a good portion of the CD is really really slow. Sounds like an orchestra, something that isnt really comparable to the Dream Theater that I was familiar too. It hasnt really grown on my like their other material, but I will keep on listening to it so I can begin to like it. But overall, another great release from Dream Theater.

EVERGREY NEWS
April 30, 2002

Since taking a break from updating this site, I do have some news.  The Swedish metal band, Evergrey, has lost their keyboardist.  They are looking for a new keyboardist that can fill the shoes of their old keyboardist, which no doubt will be a hard position to fill.  Hopefully they will find someone who has the talent and dedication to be in this great heavy metal band.  Thats all for now, Rock On! Later...

RuMoRs

Here I will put some rumors and other unproven information about bands that I here...so not all of it will be true...

Well, the latest rumor I have heard isn't a good rumor, it actually pissed me off. The rumor is, that the booking manager of the Cleveland Agora turned downed Dream Theater when they wanted to come to Cleveland for a show. The Agora judges the value of the show by MTV and radio airplay. And for those of you who listen to Dream Theater, you know that they fit neither of those requirements. Dream Theater does have a strong fan base in Ohio, and it upset me and a lot of other people to hear the rumor that they were turned down by the Agora. But...this is just a rumor.

If you know any news or rumors that I dont have on my site...let me know and ill post it, and give you credit.
